In the academic year 2025/26, accepted doctoral students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences will again have the opportunity to apply for a grant to attend research conferences.
Please note:
Only conferences and, new for this funding period, summer schools taking place between November 2024 and September 2025 will be funded. The following regular billing period will then begin in October 2025 and run until September 2026. This makes it easier to settle the accounts on time before the checkout closes each year.
A grant can only be awarded to cover registration fees and travel costs, but not accommodation costs. Receipts for expenses incurred must be submitted to the Dean's Office within four weeks of the trip. Please respond directly to the confirmation email you receive after completing the online form.We look forward to supporting your participation in research conferences! After June 30, 2025, the Dean's Office will review the applications received and decide how much funding can be approved. Only travel expenses approved through this process will be eligible for payment. You will be notified separately after October 31.Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered.
