Conflicts between supervisors and doctoral candidates may arise during the course of the supervisory relationship. If these conflicts cannot be resolved amicably, the ombudspersons of the Faculty of Natural Sciences are the first point of contact. The ombudsperson will attempt to mediate between the parties and resolve the conflict. If this step is unsuccessful, the ombudsperson will contact the Dean.
Both supervisors and doctoral students may contact the ombudspersons. The ombudspersons are appointed by the Doctoral Committee. Their term of office is the same as that of the Doctoral Committee and is currently four years.Other representatives of interests can be found here.
