Study life sciences at Hohenheim !

As early as the undergraduate level of our Bachelor's programs, we introduce you to independent research work as part of the award-winning Humboldt reloaded project.

For one semester, you will have the opportunity to work in small groups on a current research topic. In exercises and seminars you will discuss current scientific topics, and in project work and experimental theses we will continuously prepare you for a research career.

Modern laboratories, the technological research center “Technikum," a Dairy and Distillery for Research and Teaching, and a teaching kitchen: at the Faculty of Natural Sciences you will also acquire knowledge in a practical way and also learn how to apply theoretical knowledge.

We thereby support you in the training of important competences for research and your professional career.

Interdisciplinarity is a strength of the life sciences, which is also reflected in our programes. Numerous modules in the elective area are open to students from all programes. It is important for us to look beyond our own specialisation within the life sciences!

Study in style in the library in the Palace, then move to one of our modern laboratory buildings for your internship and take a stroll through the botanical garden to relax - and all this on the University of Hohenheim’s campus.

Our campus on the outskirts of Stuttgart, surrounded by fields and parks, offers a unique study atmosphere. With public transportation, you can also quickly reach the city center.
